About the New River Valley IAAP

The Web IAAP NRV Chapter

The New River Valley Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals is a group of more than 50 professional men and women in the counties of Montgomery, Pulaski, Giles, and Floyd, the City of Radford, and surrounding areas. One of 17 chapters in Virginia, the NRV chapter meets monthly, usually in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area.

The New River Valley Chapter's Membership Committee is willing and ready to meet with Chapter members who would like to know more about the Chapter.   This opportunity has been nicknamed the "NRVC FOCUS" (New River Valley Chapter Focus).

  • Meetings will last for approximately 1 hour (ZIP meetings) during a lunch-time or during a time agreed upon by interested members.
  • Meetings will be held in different areas according to the interest of members wishing to attend.
  • Meetings will consist of questions and answers about  the Chapter.  How members can become more involved; what all of these acronyms really mean; and many other topics of inquiry. If you are interested in learning more about the chapter or just have some general questions, please let Sue Stewart CPS/CAP  (sustew@vt.edu) know.
